Role Overview
We are seeking a Manual QA Tester to become an integral part of our team, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to validate new product features by executing manual tests, detecting bugs, and ensuring seamless user experiences across our platform. This fully remote role offers strong potential for career advancement as our QA team grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression tests.
- Analyze product requirements and acceptance criteria to determine testing scope.
- Perform exploratory tests to identify edge cases and assess usability.
- Document detected bugs in Jira comprehensively with reproduction steps and screenshots.
- Collaborate actively with development and QA teams during sprint cycles.
- Maintain and organize test documentation and checklists for consistent coverage.
- Contribute recommendations to enhance testing workflows and improve test coverage.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-2 years experience in manual QA testing, preferably focused on web applications.
- Understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to testing.
- Proficiency using Jira or equivalent issue tracking software.
- Basic knowledge of browser technologies, APIs, and client-server interactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting test results and bugs.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
- Experience testing SaaS or B2B products.
- Familiarity with test management platforms like TestRail or Xray.
- Exposure to browser developer tools and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Motivation to pursue automation testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases and logging tools like Sentry.
- Intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous self-improvement.
