Maintenance Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform a wide variety of general upkeep, decorating, carpentry, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks throughout the hotel premises. This role offers a diverse and engaging range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain guest bedrooms and hotel areas to high standards ensuring all facilities and services function correctly in a prestigious four red star luxury hotel.
• Promptly address guest requests and ensure efficient resolution.
• Respond swiftly to guest inquiries or complaints, keeping both your direct manager and Duty Manager informed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in general site maintenance, repair work, and planned preventative maintenance.
• Professional competence in carpentry skills is highly preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge or experience working with domestic electrical systems, including fault diagnosis and installations.
• Familiarity with other building-related trades is advantageous.
