Position Summary

We are looking for an entry-level Loan Processor to join our credit risk team. This role involves significant responsibilities from the start and offers room for professional advancement. The Loan Processor will be instrumental in making credit decisions and managing the credit portfolio alongside the underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize proprietary software to evaluate incoming funding applications and collect credit-related information from various external sources.
• Analyze personal and business credit by reviewing credit reports such as FICO and LexisNexis and assessing bank statements.
• Communicate findings and perspectives clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to team members.
• Carry out special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least one year of experience in credit risk or underwriting, preferably with a merchant cash advance funder or small business lender.
• Ability to follow management instructions accurately.
• A strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, ability to multitask, and perform well under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and dedication to team success.

Additional Information

• The role is full-time, based onsite in the Montego Bay office, with shifts lasting eight hours scheduled between 6 AM and 9 PM from Monday to Saturday.
• Weekend work may be required occasionally.
• Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute is necessary.
