Life Skills Coach

Role Overview

Spread Your Wings LLC is seeking a dedicated Life Skills Coach to provide independent living support to individuals with developmental disabilities in the San Clara area. This is a full-time, onsite position working Monday through Friday from 10am to 7pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide clients in developing essential daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal hygiene.
• Motivate and support individuals facing developmental and behavioral challenges to promote greater independence and confidence.
• Design and implement personalized weekly goals and schedules tailored to clients' needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress through case notes and quarterly reports.
• Devote approximately 90% of work time in field interactions with clients and 10% on administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with program managers, regional coordinators, and training personnel to optimize client outcomes.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to commute and work effectively within the San Clara area.
• Successful clearance of background checks in compliance with state industry standards.
• Proficiency in computer use, including MS Word, email communication, and basic data entry.
