Labourer - RCI Division

About the Role

RCI, a division of Park Paving Ltd., is looking for a dedicated Labourer to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta. This full-time seasonal position offers competitive wages along with benefits and involves working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and directing truck traffic entering and leaving the yard.
• Inspecting loads to ensure they comply with RCI’s acceptance standards for materials.
• Engaging courteously with customers visiting the yard.
• Performing routine yard maintenance, including grass cutting and litter collection to keep the premises organized.
• Supporting general labor tasks as required by the team.
• Receiving training and potentially operating a front-end loader.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience in yard upkeep and organization is advantageous.
• Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver’s license is mandatory.
• Physically capable of handling outdoor work and manual labor tasks.
• Strong work ethic and a polite, professional demeanor.

Work Schedule and Additional Information

The position involves working five 8-hour days per week, with the possibility of extended hours and occasional Saturday shifts depending on yard needs. Successful candidates should demonstrate resilience in a physically intense, productive setting and work effectively in coordination with supervisors, operators, and fellow crew members. Maintaining a safety-focused and accountable work culture with a positive, respectful attitude is essential.
