About The Role

Join the Warwick Conferences team as a Kitchen Porter, a key contributor to ensuring our kitchen operates with the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This position requires primarily onsite work at our campus facilities, where you'll support kitchen operations by handling washing duties and maintaining sanitary conditions in line with food safety and health legislation.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with washing duties for food service equipment, including loading and unloading dishwashers and hand-washing larger items.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors and surfaces through sweeping, mopping, and regular cleaning routines.
• Support daily operations in food and drink service areas including the wash-up station and staff rooms.
• Work collaboratively with a team of both contracted and temporary Kitchen Porters following established health, safety, and hygiene protocols.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and can effectively communicate within a team setting. Training will be provided in areas such as Basic Food Hygiene, COSHH, Manual Handling, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, and Food Allergens to aid your professional development.

Terms and Conditions

• The role is based on campus with varied shift patterns requiring five days out of seven working.
