The Key Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of major accounts, act as a trusted advisor, and coordinate across internal teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. The role blends commercial ownership, client governance, service excellence, and growth generation.

What You Will Do

  • Represent the client internally and work with operations, sourcing, finance, technology, leadership, and program optimization teams to drive results.
  • Lead client discussions around growth, program performance, savings, traveler experience, and ongoing improvement.
  • Run Management Business Reviews as working sessions centered on insights, actions, and measurable progress.
  • Conduct twice-yearly business reviews to showcase value, align on direction, and set future plans.
  • Keep engagements focused on decisions and outcomes rather than retrospective reporting.
  • Track commercial performance across the portfolio and help sustain EBITDA and growth.
  • Deliver recommendations tied to cost efficiency, total cost of ownership, ROI, adoption, compliance, traveler experience, and other performance measures.
  • Use data and analysis to improve program maturity and solve performance gaps.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, upsell, and new revenue in coordination with sales and internal partners.
  • Watch for account risk signals and lead recovery or optimization actions when needed.
  • Work with regional and in-country teams to support consistent global delivery while respecting local needs.
  • Monitor data quality, service models, and operational consistency.
  • Drive follow-through by ensuring actions, owners, and timelines are clearly defined and completed.
  • Help refine the Key Account Management approach and share effective practices with the wider account management team.

Required Experience and Capabilities

  • Proven success managing large, high-value accounts in complex, regional, or multi-stakeholder settings.
  • Experience running structured business reviews and formal client governance processes.
  • Strong executive-level presence with the confidence to influence, challenge, and guide senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial thinking with a solid grasp of value creation, profitability, and growth levers.
  • Strong understanding of corporate travel operations, technology, sourcing, and analytics.
  • Comfort working in a matrixed, performance-focused, partner-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence, with the ability to simplify complexity into clear actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable outcomes and continuously improve programs.
