Teya is dedicated to empowering local businesses throughout Europe by offering an intuitive financial platform tailored to their needs. Driven by a commitment to deliver straightforward solutions, excellent design, and personalised support, Teya aims to help local enterprises—such as cafés, salons, and independent shops—overcome the traditional barriers of complex financial systems. At Teya, every team member is encouraged to contribute to impactful products that genuinely enhance small business operations and communities.
Role Overview
As a Junior Product Manager, you will support the product team in organizing, delivering, and refining critical features that underpin customer journeys. Working alongside Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations, your contributions will span the entire product development lifecycle, from user research to post-launch optimization. This role is perfect for candidates who enjoy collaborating across functions, balancing ambitious ideas with precise attention to detail, and championing user experience throughout the product process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and advancing core product areas, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and strategic team objectives.
- Participate in collecting user feedback, conducting interviews, and synthesising data to pinpoint problems and improvement areas.
- Translate research and insights into technical and functional requirements; partner with other departments to prototype and enhance features.
- Evaluate and prioritise suggestions and initiatives by assessing both immediate results and long-term benefits.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators after feature launches to guide adoption, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Collaborate on go-to-market efforts, preparing launch materials and ensuring consistent internal communication.
- Advocate for simplicity and the end-user perspective when reviewing designs and planning future updates.
- Identify and implement improvements to user onboarding, activation, and retention tooling and processes.
Candidate Profile
- Brings 1–3 years of experience in product management, project coordination, or an allied discipline, preferably in technology-driven sectors such as fintech or SaaS.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree (in a technical, analytical, or business domain) or possesses equivalent practical expertise.
- Comfortable zooming out for broader strategy while tracking critical details to ensure comprehensive execution.
- Takes proactive steps, adapts to evolving tools, and is eager to delve into hands-on problem-solving.
- Leverages analytical skills to form hypotheses, collect relevant data, and support experimentation (such as A/B testing).
- Articulates complex concepts clearly, fostering collaboration and documenting insights effectively among stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a deep commitment to understanding and incorporating customer needs at every phase of the product lifecycle.
