Role Overview
Havas Australia is seeking a Junior IT Support Analyst to join their Shared Services team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with some formal IT education and around one year of experience in an IT helpdesk environment. The role involves hands-on support in both Mac and Windows operating systems, including experience with Active Directory. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success in this multifaceted position.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues efficiently.
- Manage support tickets from initiation through to resolution.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation on IT procedures and fixes.
- Ensure all IT support activities comply with company policies.
- Administer user access rights to various application software.
- Perform account administration tasks for users.
- Build and configure operating systems on PC and Mac platforms.
- Learn and utilize the in-house workflow system effectively.
- Ensure all boardroom technology setups are operational daily.
- Provide onboarding training for new employees on email, workflow software, and server access.
- Help register new system users and conduct basic internal system training aligned with company-specific tools.
Candidate Profile
- A strong enthusiasm and passion for working in Information Technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Experience in customer service is a notable advantage.
- Good analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Self-driven, cooperative team member, adaptable, patient, motivated, and enjoyable to work with.
- Fundamental to intermediate understanding of Apple and Windows environments, server management, and network troubleshooting.
