As the company’s international team expands, PulseMedia is hiring a Junior Front-End Developer in the MENA region to work remotely. This role is well suited to an early-career developer who enjoys modern web development and wants to create fast, polished digital experiences while partnering with designers, marketers, and developers.

Role Overview

You will help build and maintain websites and landing pages, translate design files into reusable front-end code, support marketing-focused improvements, and contribute to a collaborative remote development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain responsive, easy-to-use websites and landing pages for healthcare and wellness clients.
• Turn UI/UX concepts into neat, scalable, and reusable front-end code.
• Develop digital marketing assets that work well across devices and deliver strong user experiences.
• Partner with designers, digital marketers, and project managers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to SEO, conversion rate optimization, and performance-driven website enhancements.
• Take part in team discussions and help improve development processes.
• Improve site speed, accessibility, and compatibility across browsers.
• Ensure layouts and functionality perform smoothly on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Follow best practices for usability, accessibility, and code maintainability.
• Update and manage WordPress websites and other content management systems.
• Implement content changes, page structures, and reusable templates.
• Support ongoing site improvements and new feature rollouts.
• Spot and fix front-end bugs and visual issues.
• Test websites on different devices and browsers to confirm reliable performance.
• Maintain strong coding quality across projects.
• Keep up with current front-end technologies and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers.
• Continuously strengthen technical and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of front-end development experience, including internships, freelance work, personal projects, or junior-level roles.
• Exposure to live websites or web applications is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive, mobile-first development.
• Exposure to React, Vue.js, or similar front-end frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SEO-friendly front-end practices.
• Ability to use Git or similar version control tools.
• Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or comparable design tools.
• Basic understanding of performance tuning and cross-browser testing.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setup.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and keep improving.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Bonus experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar frameworks.
• Awareness of WCAG accessibility standards is a plus.
• Exposure to healthcare, medical, or other regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and modern workflows is helpful.
• English fluency is required; Arabic is a strong plus.
