Role overview
This is a junior creative design contract focused on healthcare content. The assignment runs for 12 months to begin with, and there is potential for extension or a move into a full-time role.
What you'll do
- Create polished PowerPoint decks for both internal and external use, with a strong focus on clarity, visual hierarchy, consistency, and overall impact.
- Help develop and refine marketing and internal video content, including outlining ideas, making basic edits, and supporting motion graphics work.
- Turn business updates and performance metrics into engaging visual stories such as weekly highlights, campaign recaps, and executive-style summaries.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership stakeholders to understand communication goals and convert them into creative outputs.
- Keep all materials aligned with brand standards and CVS Health visual guidelines.
- Respond to fast-moving creative requests while balancing several priorities at once.
- Bring forward fresh design ideas that strengthen storytelling, audience engagement, and the overall quality of deliverables.
Required background
The ideal candidate brings 1 to 3 years of experience in graphic design, visual design, or marketing creative work, with internships counting toward experience.
Strong PowerPoint skills are essential, along with a good sense of layout, typography, and presentation storytelling.
You should also be comfortable using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or Premiere Pro, or comparable tools.
Basic video editing and motion graphics knowledge are needed, along with the ability to break down complex information into clear, attractive visuals.
