Job Description

• Full-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $16.00
• Shift timings include mornings and afternoons
• Workdays cover Monday through Sunday with weekly payment

This janitorial role involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas within buildings or multiple client locations. Duties are flexible based on the customer's requirements and include a wide range of cleaning responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all flooring surfaces using methods such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment carefully to avoid damage to surfaces or furnishings
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrances
• Empty trash receptacles properly and operate compactors for specific materials
• Clean windows, glass panels, and mirrors using suitable products and tools
• Conduct spot cleaning on carpets and assist with deeper carpet cleaning methods like extraction and shampooing
• Replenish restroom supplies including paper products and sanitary items
• Adhere to the housekeeping schedule and perform routine cleaning tasks
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers when required
• Perform other duties as assigned based on work scope or client needs

Qualifications

Essential:

• High school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of six months janitorial experience
• Willingness to learn on the job with provided training
• Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred:

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience
• Knowledge of custodial standards and commercial cleaning procedures
• Skills in floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Experience with industrial cleaning or general facilities maintenance
