About ASMO
ASMO is an innovative collaboration between DHL and Saudi Aramco combining DHL's expertise in logistics with Saudi Aramco's vast supply chain network. The venture aims to revolutionize procurement and supply chain management by delivering integrated end-to-end services across industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Initially focusing on Saudi Aramco and its subsidiaries, ASMO plans to expand services to all industrial sectors in Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region by 2025.
Role Overview
The IT Strategy Analyst will support the formulation and implementation of IT-related strategic projects, working closely with the IT Strategy & Innovation Lead. This position ensures that IT plans align with departmental goals and that investments in technology bring demonstrable value to ASMO and its operational units.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and apply IT Strategy principles, rules, and procedures, selectively gathering and verifying quantifiable data.
- Collaborate with IT Strategy & Innovation management to help develop and implement ASMO’s IT strategic plans.
- Align IT initiatives with the overall objectives of the IT Strategy & Governance department.
- Maintain and update a technology roadmap reflecting ASMO’s future IT direction under leadership guidance.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, industry trends, and best practices relevant to ASMO.
- Conduct research and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the feasibility and impact of emerging technologies on business competitiveness and operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- A Master’s degree in any of these fields is preferred.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Minimum of five years’ professional experience in a similar IT strategy role.
