About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Analyst to join a dynamic Fund Operations team in Sydney CBD. This position involves contributing to the daily management of managed funds as well as direct securities and ETF investment products. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for permanent employment, offering a competitive base salary of up to $90,000 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate unit pricing and Net Asset Value (NAV) figures.
- Perform reconciliations involving cash, unit registries, and position data.
- Manage the processing of corporate actions.
- Handle broker settlements and various securities operations.
- Support client onboarding, payments processing, and account administration functions.
- Assist with fund accounting tasks and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Engineering, Risk & Compliance, and Customer Experience.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Approximately two years' experience within investment operations, middle office functions, or customer broking roles.
- Proven expertise in reconciliations, particularly unit pricing processes; strong reconciliation capability is essential.
- Educational background or qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with a proactive and inquisitive approach.
- Eagerness to learn and apply AI technologies, SQL, BigQuery, or comparable tools to optimize operations.
