Role Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Product Designer to enhance our product quality and innovation. This role involves working closely within a dedicated squad alongside product and engineering leadership, focusing on user experience, research, visual design, and AI-enhanced design engineering. You will contribute to evolving Tracksuit’s design system and product interface.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead user interviews, concept testing, and usability evaluations.
• Convert research insights into actionable strategies for your squad.
• Develop a deep understanding of user requirements within your assigned product domain.
• Manage the complete design process of features, including flows, interactions, and polished user interfaces meeting company standards.
• Actively seek and apply feedback for continuous improvement, aiming for simplicity and clarity.
• Utilize and enhance the Tracksuit design system by identifying inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communicate design progress, decisions, and challenges effectively.
• Engage constructively in critique sessions and contribute positively to the team environment.
• Align design choices with user outcomes and business goals, offering innovative ideas to guide the product direction.

Candidate Profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in product design, with developed skills in UI and fundamental UX principles.
• Proficiency in Figma for creating UI/UX designs, prototypes, and visual aids.
• Experience or enthusiasm for conducting user research, customer interactions, problem exploration, and solution shaping.
• Excellent communication skills tailored for diverse audiences, fostering open dialogue with users and stakeholders.
• Highly curious and receptive to feedback, with a strong desire for ongoing learning.
• Cooperative team member with humility and kindness, contributing to a supportive work culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-assisted design tools.
• Interest or background in vibe-coding or preliminary AI design engineering.
• Formal education in UX design or related fields is advantageous.
