Role Overview

This full-time position is located onsite in Wiri, Auckland. The role demands a demonstrated history of successful design and sales achievements, verified through a strong professional portfolio.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Create interior, kitchen, and cabinetry designs tailored to client requirements.
• Utilize CAD and 3D modeling software to produce detailed technical drafts and presentations.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of materials, hardware, finishes, and ergonomic design principles suitable for kitchens and cabinetry.
• Communicate effectively with clients to translate their needs into coherent design solutions while managing expectations clearly and professionally.
• Coordinate multiple projects efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and workflows are aligned with trades and suppliers.
• Maintain precision in measurements and documentation, resolving any design or installation issues preemptively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant experience within New Zealand’s interior design, kitchen design, or cabinetry sectors is essential.
• Proficient in design software tools relevant for drafting and 3D visualization.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client engagement and presentation.
• Track record of successful sales achievements.
• Organizational ability to handle concurrent projects.
• Preferred formal qualification in interior design, architecture, or related fields along with familiarity with NZ building codes and standards.
