Role Overview
This full-time position is located onsite in Wiri, Auckland. The role demands a demonstrated history of successful design and sales achievements, verified through a strong professional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Create interior, kitchen, and cabinetry designs tailored to client requirements.
- Utilize CAD and 3D modeling software to produce detailed technical drafts and presentations.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of materials, hardware, finishes, and ergonomic design principles suitable for kitchens and cabinetry.
- Communicate effectively with clients to translate their needs into coherent design solutions while managing expectations clearly and professionally.
- Coordinate multiple projects efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and workflows are aligned with trades and suppliers.
- Maintain precision in measurements and documentation, resolving any design or installation issues preemptively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant experience within New Zealand’s interior design, kitchen design, or cabinetry sectors is essential.
- Proficient in design software tools relevant for drafting and 3D visualization.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client engagement and presentation.
- Track record of successful sales achievements.
- Organizational ability to handle concurrent projects.
- Preferred formal qualification in interior design, architecture, or related fields along with familiarity with NZ building codes and standards.
