Interior Designer

About the Role

We seek a creative and meticulous Interior Designer based in Pune to design functional and visually appealing interiors for residential and commercial environments. The candidate will translate client requirements into innovative design concepts, handle technical drawings, coordinate with vendors, and oversee project execution within stipulated timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to grasp their needs, budget constraints, and style preferences.
• Develop imaginative interior designs and effective space layouts.
• Create 2D and working drawings as well as 3D visual renderings.
• Design mood boards, select material palettes, and arrange furniture layouts.
• Choose appropriate materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and décor.
• Draft Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed material specifications.
• Liaise effectively with site engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct onsite visits to monitor and guide project progress.
• Ensure project completion adheres to budgetary and scheduling goals.
• Address and resolve any design or execution challenges encountered on site.
• Keep current with emerging interior design trends and material innovations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong grasp of interior design fundamentals and space planning techniques.
• Excellent communication capabilities and client relationship management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of materials, hardware, finishes, and furniture.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently with keen attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving and teamwork skills with good coordination.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 1 to 5 years’ experience in residential or commercial interior design; exceptional freshers with outstanding portfolios are welcome to apply.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience working with modular furniture and executing turnkey interior projects.
• Knowledge in preparing BOQs and cost estimation.
• Understanding site execution and project management processes.
• Ability to independently manage client and vendor coordination.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from 12,000 to 25,000 INR.
