Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Information Specialist to join our team full-time at our Kenya location. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree and have over two years of relevant professional experience, preferably with expertise in network installations and monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough IT technical and desktop support for users within the trading area, addressing general and temporary technical issues.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify requirements and assist the installation team in deploying and managing network and CCTV systems effectively.
• Conduct regular cleaning, inspection, and daily upkeep of Network Video Recorders (NVRs), decoders, cameras, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Master the various modules of data monitoring systems and lead training sessions to enhance user proficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of two years' experience in monitoring system operations and maintenance, with at least one year dedicated to hands-on network installation; prior experience with Hikvision systems or deployments in large industrial parks is highly advantageous.
• Technical knowledge in IT server room hardware, UPS power installations, and camera types including bullet and dome cameras; fiber splicing skills are considered a strong asset.
• Familiarity with basic configuration of Huawei switches, experience working with Windows Server operating systems, and understanding of manufacturing IT workflows such as access control, storage, and server integration.
• Demonstrate excellent execution skills, a collaborative team-oriented attitude, and strong communication and coordination across departments.
