Overview
Super is dedicated to pioneering the next generation of interactive sports, gaming, and fan experiences, expanding its presence across Europe and Latin America. As part of this mission, we are introducing the position of Information Security Officer within our Cybersecurity team to oversee security governance, policy, and compliance throughout the company.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the organization-wide information security policy framework to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
- Lead the security compliance strategy, manage the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform, and ensure clear communication of policies across all departments.
- Develop and implement customized security awareness and training programs for various teams to reinforce compliance responsibilities.
- Promote and verify adherence to compliance requirements across all business units, track policy exceptions, and facilitate timely remediation.
- Manage Personally Identifiable Information (PII) compliance initiatives, including efforts to eliminate unencrypted PII, with reporting elevated to the Board and Risk Committee as needed.
- Coordinate audit processes by collaborating with external auditors and managing the collection of audit evidence.
- Deliver regular compliance updates and reports to company leadership, the Board, and Risk Committee.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrable background in information security governance, risk management, and compliance within regulated, multi-national environments.
- Solid practical expertise with ISO 27001, GDPR, and data protection standards.
- Experience managing security policy frameworks and security training initiatives.
- Hands-on familiarity with GRC platforms and driving compliance across diverse teams.
- Proven ability to organize and manage both internal and external audits, including audit evidence preparation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the capacity to influence compliance without direct authority.
- Experience reporting to senior leadership and governance committees.
Preferred Credentials
- Professional certifications such as CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or CISSP.
- Experience managing data protection and PII programs.
- Previous experience in fast-growing technology, gaming, or fintech sectors.
