Job Overview

The Implementation Science Specialist will guide organizational change efforts aimed at bridging the gap between research findings and practical application within Centerstone. This role involves collaborating internally and with external stakeholders to identify and foster growth opportunities, championing the uptake of clinical models, evidence-based practices (EBPs), and innovative approaches. Assessment of challenges and supports to change will inform the design and execution of strategic initiatives. By leading multidisciplinary teams, the specialist fosters motivation, cultural support, and buy-in to sustain effective implementation. As a thought leader in implementation science, this position is pivotal to transformational change and requires managing complex information, coordinating workflows, and reviewing research projects to detect system-wide enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across organizational units and with external partners to identify growth and change opportunities.
  • Promote the integration of clinical models, evidence-based practices, and other innovations into practice.
  • Evaluate barriers and facilitators to change to tailor effective implementation strategies.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to secure buy-in, cultivate motivation, and strengthen an organizational culture conducive to change.
  • Serve as a thought leader specializing in implementation science frameworks, driver assessments, and facilitator analysis.
  • Support and drive transformational organizational change efforts.
  • Partner with teams to create detailed implementation plans and manage workflow organization.
  • Review Research Institute project portfolios to identify opportunities for system-wide advancement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree required; a Doctorate in Psychology or related behavioral health discipline preferred.
  • At least eight years of professional experience in clinical research, translational science, or academic environments.
  • Proven ability to apply Dissemination & Implementation (D&I) science theories and research in community behavioral health settings to promote superior clinical practices.
  • Specialized training or a strong research record in Dissemination and/or Implementation Science.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, face-to-face, and virtual formats.

Physical Requirements

  • Approximately 20% standing, 80% sitting, with occasional squatting, kneeling, bending, driving, and lifting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time role ranges from $81,850 to $122,740 annually.
