Job Overview

This position is for an HR generalist who will act as the primary face of the people operations function within the office. Responsibilities include managing the entire employee lifecycle such as recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits management, addressing policy inquiries, and providing broad employee support. The role is on-site in Sanford, FL, working five days a week. Since HR processes are still being developed, the individual will have significant influence over how these systems are established rather than following a preset manual.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of two years’ experience in an HR generalist, coordinator, or related people operations role.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes, benefits administration, and basic employment law compliance.
• Comfortable using HRIS or payroll software alongside general office productivity tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Must be discreet, well-organized, and approachable, creating an environment where employees feel comfortable discussing issues openly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification like SHRM-CP or PHR is advantageous.
• Prior experience working at a small or rapidly growing company.
• Background in recruiting and hiring coordination.
• Knowledge of staffing in warehouse or logistics environments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary between $50,000 and $60,000 annually.
