About the Role
A well-established financial advisory firm managing over $29 billion in assets since 1995 is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support their team on a temporary basis. This position offers full remote work, but applicants must reside in New York.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 3 years of experience in human resources, recruitment coordination, or administrative support roles
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and precision
- Skilled in administrative tasks, data entry, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Knowledgeable in HRIS platforms, employee records management, and onboarding procedures
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes by handling documentation, communications, and tracking necessary paperwork
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and electronic personnel files
- Carry out processing of HR documents, update employee data, and manage shared HR email inboxes
- Address routine employee questions and escalate complex issues to the relevant HR personnel
- Support training logistics, employee engagement efforts, reporting tasks, and other HR projects
- Deliver administrative assistance to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations

- HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines
- Employee files and documentation are maintained in an organized and up-to-date manner

Compensation & Other Details
- Hourly pay ranges from $25 to $30 depending on experience
- This role is fully remote; however, candidates must be based in New York
