Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, laundry, and uniform rooms. This position requires delivering professional and courteous service while adhering strictly to our standards and procedures to ensure the highest quality of cleanliness and guest comfort.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards for guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house sections, laundry, and uniform rooms, ensuring strict adherence to One&Only Portonovi procedures.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks in assigned spaces including balconies and furniture care.
• Keep hallways, corridors, pantries, lockers, and back-of-house areas orderly and clean at all times.
• Care for carpets throughout the facility by regular spotting and vacuuming in guest rooms, corridors, lobby, restaurants, bars, elevators, and offices.
• Follow all operational protocols concerning cleaning, sanitization, and preparation of areas under your responsibility.
• Comply with the company dress code and grooming standards.
• Be adaptable and willing to undertake additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience Required

• Physical ability to handle cleaning equipment such as housekeeping carts and floor machinery; capable of bending, twisting, stooping, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, or kneeling for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
• Capability to follow verbal directions accurately and work independently without supervision.
• Detailed knowledge of cleaning supplies and proper cleaning procedures.
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Flexible availability to accommodate varying schedules.
• Positive attitude and professional body language maintained at all times.
• Strong understanding of hotel facilities, services, and operating hours.
• Provide reliable references.
