Role Overview

As a Hostess at Apparel Group in Abu Dhabi, you will be the welcoming face for guests, ensuring their experience begins positively through warm greetings and seamless seating coordination. You will manage reservations, assist guest inquiries, and maintain an organized and hospitable environment that aligns with brand expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests courteously, verifying reservations and efficiently handling walk-ins.
• Maintain and update seating charts to optimize dining flow and table turnover.
• Manage phone and digital reservation systems accurately to prevent overbooking and ensure smooth queue management.
• Communicate wait times clearly and coordinate with service staff to prepare tables punctually.
• Respond promptly to guest questions regarding menu options, daily specials, and services offered.
• Handle guest feedback or complaints with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensure the reception and waiting areas are clean and organized to provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with kitchen and serving teams to support smooth operational flow.
• Observe and adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene protocols throughout service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills exhibiting a friendly and professional attitude.
• Adept at multitasking and managing reservations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Competent in using reservation software and basic computer programs.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Awareness of hospitality-related health, safety, and hygiene standards.
