About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Home Delivery Driver to join a respected retail company known for its customer-centric approach and supportive team environment. This position involves delivering groceries directly to customers, maintaining high standards of service while working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the van safely, following proper manual handling and heavy lifting guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to all safe driving protocols during deliveries.
• Perform regular van inspections and safety checks before departure.
• Ensure that all food items are delivered fresh and in excellent condition.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company positively in face-to-face interactions.
• Assist with in-store tasks when required to support the team.
• Manage time efficiently and work independently to complete delivery routes.
• Be flexible with shift timings, which can vary between early morning (6am) and late evening (11pm).

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly demeanor and a strong commitment to great customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of road safety practices.
