About the Role

Join a leading grocery company as a Home Delivery Driver based in Llantrisant, Wales. This role involves delivering shopping orders efficiently and safely while directly engaging with customers. As a vital team member, you will represent the company with pride, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely, applying proper manual handling and heavy lifting techniques.
• Maintain strict compliance with safe driving practices throughout delivery routes.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and during shifts to ensure safety and reliability.
• Ensure all food items are delivered in excellent condition to customers.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service during deliveries.
• Support store operations as needed when not on delivery routes.
• Operate independently, managing time and routes effectively.
• Be flexible to work various shifts that may start as early as 6am and continue until 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a full driving license for at least three years with six or fewer penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, approachable attitude with a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences.
• Be reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to road safety awareness.
