Handyperson - Light Maintenance

Work Schedule & Pay

The position offers part-time hours with shifts from 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Starting wage is $10.76 per hour.

Key Duties

• Carry out tasks as per standard operating procedures and the building's schedule.
• Clean multiple facility areas such as rooms, hallways, restrooms, lockers, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, mop, remove debris, and clean spills across sales floors and seating zones.
• Monitor and empty trash receptacles throughout the site regularly.
• Collect and sort recyclables into appropriate containers.
• Polish and clean windows, mirrors, and stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, products, furniture, and equipment as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in restrooms for customers and staff.
• Maintain sweep logs and report daily work to supervisors verbally or in writing.
• Properly use and sanitize all equipment ensuring safety.
• Perform minor repairs related to carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks.
• Touch up and apply finish painting when necessary.
• Replace light bulbs and restock restroom supplies.
• Arrange and dismantle chairs, tables, and equipment for meetings or events.
• Adhere strictly to all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Effective communication skills with both customers and managers.
• Ability to comprehend documents such as safety protocols, maintenance instructions, and chemical handling directions, primarily in English (Spanish where required).
• Strong multitasking abilities and critical thinking skills balancing strategy and execution.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance roles.
• Willingness to use mobile timekeeping software (KBSPresence) on a personal device, with reimbursement provided where applicable.
