Graphic Designer

Role overview

Rio Las Vegas is looking for a Graphic Designer who will help produce eye-catching visual content that supports guest communication, strengthens the resort’s brand presence, and contributes to a better overall visitor experience. The role spans a wide mix of print and digital creative work, from promotional materials to social and web assets.

What you’ll create

• Design polished graphics, illustrations, and page layouts for both printed and digital use.
• Produce marketing pieces such as brochures, flyers, posters, banners, and similar collateral for venues, events, and special offers.
• Build creative assets for the resort website, social channels, email campaigns, and online advertising.
• Create and refresh property signage, including wayfinding, room signs, and event banners.
• Prepare artwork and files for print production so the final output meets quality standards.

How you’ll work

• Protect and apply the resort’s brand identity across every design deliverable.
• Partner with the marketing team and advertising agencies to understand project goals, audience needs, and creative direction.
• Keep pace with current design trends, software capabilities, and industry practices to contribute new ideas.

Supervisory scope

This role does not include any supervisory duties.

Requirements

• A degree in Graphic Design or a closely related discipline.
• Previous graphic design experience, ideally within hospitality or resort environments.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Solid grasp of typography, layout principles, and color theory.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design ideas clearly.
• Comfort managing several projects at once while meeting deadlines.
• A portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of design work.
• Exposure to UX/UI, responsive design, and digital design fundamentals is an advantage.

Preferred background

• Experience with print production and marketing collateral.
• Experience creating email creatives, social media visuals, and other digital marketing assets.
• Ability to keep branding consistent across multiple channels.
• Hands-on email design experience.

Licenses and compliance

Candidates must be eligible for any licenses or permits required under federal, state, and local regulations.

Physical requirements

• Ability to work within tight timeframes and fixed deadlines.
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and balance while working in different areas, including confined spaces.

Working conditions

The job is performed indoors in a climate-controlled setting, with exposure to environmental factors that may include noise, dust, and smoke.
