About The Role
Beauty Works is a global leader in luxury hair care products, specializing in clip-ins, semi-permanent professional extensions, and exclusive collaborations. Their range extends to hair extensions, aftercare products, and electrical styling tools, recognized widely across beauty media and prestigious events. Operating internationally, they serve both salon professionals and consumers, and are part of a larger Beauty Industry Group headquartered in Salt Lake City, holding the largest market share in hair extensions worldwide.
The Graphic Designer role reports directly to the Creative Design & Production Manager and plays a crucial part in creating captivating artwork across Beauty Industry Group's brands, covering web, print, and social media platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop creative, innovative, and sophisticated graphic designs across multiple brands, elevating the creative output of the team.
- Work efficiently even under tight deadlines, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines throughout all design work.
- Translate marketing objectives into clear, engaging graphic content.
- Create on-brand animated graphics for social media channels, especially Instagram Stories, Posts, and Sponsored Ads.
- Design compelling email campaigns aligned with brand identity.
- Accurately resize images and graphics to exact pixel specifications.
- Produce web page banners and other digital assets.
- Accept and incorporate constructive creative feedback collaboratively.
- Manage projects fully from concept to completion, including developing complete brand identities for influencer campaigns.
- Design visuals for events, product launches, and PR gifting initiatives.
- Perform image retouching and enhancement.
- Prepare print-ready designs for packaging and other materials.
- Create and adjust digital typography to suit various creative needs.
- Design print materials such as brochures, price lists, and PDFs.
- Contribute fresh, innovative design ideas within the graphics and marketing teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum two years experience in graphic design within fast-paced companies or agency settings.
- Relevant qualifications or formal education in design.
- Strong commitment to strict compliance with brand guidelines.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Exceptional proofreading, spelling, and linguistic skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Experienced in creating animated visual content, notably for Instagram Stories.
- Adept at networking and building strong professional relationships internally and externally.
- Highly self-motivated with a committed work ethic.
- Team player attitude, willing to assist colleagues beyond the specified role when necessary.
- Must provide a comprehensive portfolio showing design capabilities; creative CVs and portfolios are welcomed to demonstrate skill sets.
- Passion for the Beauty Works brand, awareness of beauty industry trends, social media influencer culture, and current digital marketing trends.
- Familiarity with design platforms such as FIGMA is a plus.
- Previous experience with Dotdigital or similar email service provider software is advantageous.
