Role Overview

The Global Logistics Specialist works under Global Logistics Leadership and coordinates with international logistics providers in English to ensure timely and cost-efficient outbound shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert with in-depth understanding of markets, cultural nuances, logistics regulations, clearance procedures, and assigned carriers.
• Foster collaborative relationships with carriers like FedEx and DHL to address delivery issues and explore growth initiatives.
• Design and implement innovative delivery programs and products on assigned shipping routes.
• Establish and continually refine processes for assigned lanes and carriers.
• Conduct research, data collection, and analysis related to assigned logistics lanes and projects.
• Proactively identify and define opportunities for improving customer service and business process efficiencies.
• Maintain Transportation Management System (TMS) vendor rates, routing information, lead times, pickup schedules, logos, VAT details, tracking mappings, and shipping content.
• Investigate and monitor lost shipments, damaged goods, and shipment tracking between customs brokers and internal logistics.
• Continuously seek process enhancements between Global Logistics and internal/external partners.
• Coordinate daily follow-ups with freight forwarders and logistics vendors to ensure shipments transit punctually.
• Perform audits, ensure compliance with internal processes, review logistics workflows, and assist with contracts as needed.
• Obtain vendor quotes and report pricing updates to the Accounting Department and management.
• Manage lead times, investigate shipment delays by collaborating with internal teams, carriers, and customs brokers to facilitate on-time deliveries.
• Participate in corporate meetings as required and provide support on assigned projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Proven experience enhancing delivery networks focused on direct-to-consumer shipping solutions to optimize costs, speed, and customer satisfaction.
• Background in e-Commerce with a deep understanding of the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sector.
• Strong vendor management capabilities to drive consumer success.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Experience and Education Requirements

• Minimum two years of related professional experience.
• High school diploma mandatory; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Additional Qualifications

Strong judgment and reasoning skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly and escalate when appropriate.

Physical ability to perform duties including talking, hearing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, manual dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds following proper techniques. Reasonable accommodations can be made to assist employees with disabilities.

Compensation

The role offers an expected base salary around 71000 USD, with precise compensation determined by experience, education, location, and equity considerations.
