Position Summary

The General Manager role is pivotal in guiding Paradox Sydney through its forthcoming phase of development. Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a genuine, commercially savvy hospitality leader passionate about luxury service and team development. They possess strategic vision coupled with operational excellence and are known for relationship-building, change leadership, and delivering superior business results.

• Extensive senior leadership experience in premium or luxury hotels, preferably as a General Manager or in a senior management role poised to transition into General Manager.
• Proven track record managing large, complex hotel operations with accountability for financial outcomes.
• Strong financial expertise including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and strategic business planning.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate effective leadership teams.
• Excellent communication skills with a talent for stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Previous experience working within a five-star luxury hotel setting.
• A tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
