Opportunity Overview
Crawlspace Medic leads the crawl space and basement repair franchise industry and offers a unique path to ownership. While many franchises require upfront fees and capital investment, we provide an alternative model: investors fund new markets, and you operate the business. Over time, as performance goals are met, you acquire ownership by buying out the investors' stake. This proven system has succeeded in 35 markets.
Role Responsibilities
You're responsible for managing all aspects of the new market, including people, profit and loss, and overall performance. The role demands hands-on leadership—actively selling, coaching your team, and performing inspections until a capable team is established. This is a labor-intensive, blue-collar position requiring work under houses and in tight spaces.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates come from diverse backgrounds including veterans, ministry leaders, sales professionals, and athletes. Success hinges on character attributes such as servant leadership, willingness to lead by example, accountability, and resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership in managing teams to measurable outcomes in process-oriented, labor-heavy environments
- Experience developing or enforcing standard operating procedures
- Skilled in recruiting, nurturing, and retaining strong personnel
- Capable of addressing difficult issues promptly
- Understanding of sales, marketing, and capacity planning at operational unit level
- Accountability for results and openness to constructive feedback
- Ability to maintain focus and composure under pressure
Physical Requirements
The role requires crawling on hands and knees, belly-crawling in dark, confined spaces, maneuvering in restricted areas, and handling light tools. Candidates must be comfortable with the physical demands and getting dirty.
Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time W-2 exempt position
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped profit-sharing
- Company vehicle provided
- Two weeks paid time off annually
- Practical training and dedicated leadership development path
Expected Earnings
- Year 1: Approximately $85,000
- Year 2: Between $100,000 and $110,000
- Year 3: Between $125,000 and $135,000
These figures exclude the value of business ownership after the buy-in.
Application Process
Qualified candidates will complete a job fit assessment and a recorded preliminary interview prior to a comprehensive discussion.
