Fund Accounting Supervisor - Remote

Position Overview

We are collaborating with a prominent global fund administration firm to recruit a Fund Accounting Supervisor for their expanding team in Dublin. This is a prime chance for an experienced Fund Accountant eager to advance into a leadership role within a dynamic and client-centered organization.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee and validate NAV calculations, fund pricing, and account reconciliations.
• Examine cash, position, and market value reconciliations for accuracy.
• Review income and expense accruals, including fee computations.
• Evaluate profit and loss statements, trial balances, and investor allocations.
• Assist during audit processes and with financial statement preparation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in reconciliations and fund accounting issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties regarding fund inquiries.
• Ensure consistent adherence to all reporting deadlines, both internal and external.
• Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities for junior Fund Accountants.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of three years' experience within fund accounting or fund administration.
• In-depth knowledge of NAV production and hedge fund operations.
• Proven experience in reviewing reconciliations, pricing, and fee calculations.
• Previous supervisory or mentoring experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet stringent deadlines.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Possession of or progress towards professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA is beneficial.
