Located in Frankfurt, the JW Marriott Hotel Frankfurt is a luxury hotel situated in the heart of the vibrant city, offering premium amenities inspired by Marriott International's principles of mindfulness. Recent renovations have updated all rooms and suites, as well as public areas including the lobby and event spaces. The hotel's restaurant and bar have been redesigned and will reopen in spring 2025 with a South American dining concept under the name GRETA OTO Frankfurt, featuring a standout staircase connecting the bar and restaurant.

Role Overview

As the Front Office Agent, you are the first welcome and last farewell guests experience at the hotel, creating the crucial first impression. You'll efficiently manage check-ins to quickly turn waiting guests into excited visitors ready for their accommodation. This role is not just transactional; it fosters guest loyalty through attentive listening and warm professionalism, enhancing guest satisfaction even in challenging situations. You will work flexibly across early, late, and night shifts, gaining insight into preparatory accounting tasks during night hours.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive first impression welcoming guests to the hotel.
• Efficiently manage the check-in process to minimize waiting times.
• Provide attentive and friendly service, building guest loyalty through listening and professionalism.
• Address guest issues thoughtfully and escalate when necessary.
• Work flexibly across morning, evening, and night shifts, including handling preparatory accounting duties during night shifts.

Requirements

• Preferably completed vocational training in hospitality or initial experience working in luxury hospitality.
• Comfortable working all shifts, including early, late, and night hours.
• Solid proficiency with MS Office applications and ideally experience with the Opera property management software.
• A friendly and open demeanor who enjoys teamwork.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to quickly understand and process guest requests.
• Exceptional organizational and communication capabilities.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work in rotating shifts.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English to engage with local and international guests.

Additional Information

The role is based in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany with full-time, onsite working conditions. The gross monthly salary ranges from €2952 to €3161. Flexible working hours include various shifts.
