About The Role

Join a rapidly expanding early-stage consumer nutrition brand focused on men's health based in Berlin as the first full-time Founder's Associate. This crucial generalist position works intimately with the founder on brand development, product refinement, and go-to-market strategies, playing a key role in shaping the company culture and launching its Germany-first market entry. Exceptional candidates may be offered a path toward co-founder status.

This position requires onsite presence in Berlin, fluency in German, and eligibility to work in Germany without visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly assimilate and provide day-to-day support to the founder in operational, branding, and product-related tasks.
• Lead go-to-market initiatives with an emphasis on the German market.
• Assist in developing the brand identity, product taste, style, and positioning for a consumer lifestyle product.
• Manage a small, dynamic team consisting of a Werkstudent, an incoming intern, and a fractional head of performance.
• Undertake independent operational projects requiring minimal supervision.
• Help establish early customer engagement and feedback mechanisms for the product.
• Maintain close collaboration with the founder and Berlin-based contractors.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

• Reside in Berlin with full availability for onsite work.
• Fluent German language skills, crucial for a Germany-focused launch.
• Authorized to work in Germany without visa sponsorship.
• Strong generalist aptitude and quick learning capacity across various startup functions.
• Passion for brand creation and consumer products, distinguishing from SaaS or purely analytics roles.
• Proven sense of taste, styling, and brand appeal.
• Ability to operate independently and handle both strategic planning and operational execution.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience within startups, consumer brands, or early-stage companies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience (beneficial but not mandatory).
• Between zero and four years of relevant experience; entry-level candidates with strong motivation encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from €24,000 to €36,000.
• Equity allocation of 5% in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
