About the Role

Bellisima Fiore, a distinguished luxury floral and event design studio located in Atlanta, specializes in high-end wedding and event floral artistry. We are seeking a Florist to collaborate closely with our Lead Florist to create intricate and large-scale floral installations and designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Florist in hands-on creation, arrangement, and installation of floral designs for weddings and upscale events
• Prepare and condition flowers and greenery by cleaning, hydrating, and hardening off prior to events
• Construct arrangements such as bouquets, centerpieces, and sizable installations under guidance
• Assist in transporting and setting up floral pieces on-site, including installations involving ladders or scaffolding
• Maintain an organized studio workspace and assist in dismantling floral installations after events
• Contribute to inventory tracking by managing stem counts, noting supplies that require replenishment, and organizing the walk-in cooler

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated skill in floral mechanics including working with wire, tape, foam-free and eco-friendly methods, and structural installation techniques
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, particularly during event weeks and on event days
• Physical capability to lift heavy buckets, stand for prolonged periods, and assist with elevated installations
• Strong attention to detail with a keen sense of color coordination, texture, and proportional aesthetics
• Previous experience in floral design or studio environments is preferred
• Flexible schedule accommodating early mornings, evenings, and weekend events

Additional Details

• This position is as an independent contractor; compensation will be negotiated based on experience and workload
• The role is based in Sandy Springs, Atlanta, GA, with mandatory on-site presence for floral preparation, installation, and event participation
• The Florist reports directly to and works in partnership with the Lead Florist
