Floor Technician (Full Time)

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and carry out cleaning, restoration, and regular maintenance for a variety of floor surfaces.
• Utilize proper techniques for hard-surface floor care, including striping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate industrial-grade floor maintenance equipment for efficient cleaning of large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care, such as shampooing, extractor operation, spot treatment, damp surface work, and vacuuming.
• Apply restoration processes appropriate to different floor types and maintain cleanliness as per assigned standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and carry out other duties as instructed by management.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated previous experience in floor care, custodial or a closely related role is preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of industrial floor care equipment and cleaning methods.
• Ability to consistently follow safety and operational procedures.
• Willing and able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.

Compensation

• Hourly wage ranges from $15.00 to $16.00.

• Work location: 5000 Hennessy Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
• Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend shifts; specific hours discussed during interview.
