Role Overview

The Fashion Closet Assistant is an integral member of the Global Fashion Network, responsible for ensuring seamless logistical operations related to editorial photoshoots. This role involves managing the day-to-day functions of the fashion closet, including meticulous sample intake, trunk packing, and coordinating shipment logistics. Supporting apparel, accessories, and jewelry categories, the assistant ensures the closet remains organized and efficient, while occasionally assisting stylists during fittings and on set.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately logging and inspecting all incoming and outgoing samples.
• Efficiently packing clothing and accessory trunks in partnership with the fashion assistants.
• Arranging courier shipments, preparing shipping labels, and coordinating timing for deliveries and pickups to prevent delays.
• Responding promptly to queries about logistics and returns.
• Collaborating with the returns department on transfers and priority item returns.
• Working alongside the jewelry team to manage jewelry returns.
• Coordinating shipments of trunks and samples for shoots in cooperation with Condé Nast logistics.
• Maintaining overall fashion closet organization and operational efficiency.
• Offering support to stylists during fittings and on set when needed.
• Building and sustaining professional relationships with PR representatives from fashion brands.
• Acting as a trusted communication link between the company and brands to ensure professionalism and clarity.

Additional Information

The salary for this position ranges between $61,500 and $70,000 annually, with offers reflecting individual skills, training, experience, and education. This is a guild role.
