About the Role
This position involves supporting the financial management operations within a manufacturing environment, focusing on cost analysis and approval processes. The role contributes to efficient costing practices and budget adherence for the organization.
Main Duties
- Approve sale prices following thorough verification of customer purchase orders.
- Conduct checks for each customer’s purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Execute cost assessments and cost runs to maintain up-to-date costing records.
- Participate in month-end financial closing activities related to costing and accounting.
- Review and endorse process improvements and suggestions (kaizen initiatives).
- Authorize SAP BOM (Bill of Materials) changes associated with costing.
- Identify low-margin or loss-making items and collaborate with the plant team to address issues.
- Examine and verify debit and credit notes for accuracy.
Profile Requirements
- Collect and verify salary and electricity expense details.
- Confirm all express bookings are properly accounted for under the correct cost center.
- Regularly update on sale price movements and maintain related documentation.
- Possess expertise in Machine Hour Rate (MHR) calculations and their application.
