Role Summary

This onsite full-time position based in Dubai requires preparing precise cost estimates for interior fit-outs, exhibition stands, and event-related construction. Responsibilities include reviewing design documents, measuring material quantities and labor, obtaining and analyzing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and creating detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost breakups. The Estimator will maintain cost databases, collaborate closely with design, project management, and procurement teams for budget optimization, and evaluate value engineering possibilities. Additional duties include supporting tender preparations and ensuring estimates adhere to project timelines, quality requirements, and client expectations. Participation in meetings to clarify project scope, explain cost estimations, and assist in negotiations is also expected.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in estimation techniques such as quantity take-offs, BOQ formulation, and cost breakdowns related to interiors, exhibitions, or event projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, finishes, fabrication, and installation processes pertinent to fit-outs and exhibition constructions.
• Experience using estimation and cost management tools including Microsoft Excel and specialized software; ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with design, project management, procurement, and supplier teams, and to present cost data clearly.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Prior experience in similar estimator roles within interior design, exhibitions, events, or construction industries in UAE or GCC regions is highly valued.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, or related disciplines preferred.
• Knowledge of Dubai’s local market pricing, supplier networks, and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
• Capability to work full-time onsite in Dubai and adapt efficiently in a dynamic, project-focused environment.
