Key Responsibilities

• Act as a secondary liaison alongside the Engineer II, Project Management, addressing customer demands and inquiries.
• Gather and document all mechanical and electrical project requirements comprehensively.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Assist in formulating detailed project plans and schedule tasks prioritizing available resources.
• Oversee projects to guarantee timely and professional delivery aligned with priorities.
• Conduct feasibility analyses to bridge gaps between client needs and practical solutions.
• Participate in discussions involving customers and engineering design teams.
• Collect and analyze lessons learned throughout project lifecycles to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help identify potential risks and issues in partnership with senior engineers and assist in mitigation planning.
• Compile detailed monthly project reports for senior engineering management reviews.
• Utilize project management methodologies and software tools to track and organize deliverables.
• Manage multiple project assignments efficiently within a collaborative team environment.
• Keep professional and technical knowledge current through workshops, literature, networking, and participation in professional groups.
• Adhere to all contractual requirements and align with AL TAIF’s Quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of all company information.
• Provide support to the broader Engineering Department and undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s in Engineering Management or MBA preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant engineering experience is necessary.
• At least 1 year of experience managing projects.
• Engineering design exposure (electrical, mechanical, or related systems) of 1-2 years is advantageous.
• Interest or ongoing pursuit of project management certifications like PMP or Prince II is beneficial.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet is required.
• Strong presentation, listening, questioning, and negotiating abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and a systematic approach to tasks.
• Experience with military tactical or combat vehicle projects is a plus.
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment managing shifting priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and preferably with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Fluent communication skills in English and Arabic, written and spoken, are essential.
• Possession or eligibility to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license.
