Job Overview

Ladder to Learning seeks a committed and conscientious Driver to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of personnel, partners, volunteers, and materials. This position plays a vital role in extending the organisation's outreach and impact by bridging communities and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for staff, partners, volunteers, and cargo, ensuring punctual trips, effective route planning, assistance at airports, and dependable delivery and retrieval of documents and items.
• Maintain the vehicle's condition by performing regular inspections for safety, cleanliness, compliance with road regulations, and proper usage.
• Organize and oversee servicing requirements, minor repairs, and secure storage of vehicle-related tools, accessories, and spare parts.
• Keep detailed and accurate records such as logbooks, fuel consumption, maintenance history, and trip documentation, making sure every journey is appropriately authorised and documented.
• Follow all traffic laws and internal organisational policies, uphold professionalism and confidentiality, restrict vehicle use to authorised personnel, reduce travel risks, and promptly report any incidents.
• Assist with basic clerical and logistical tasks to support daily organisational operations as needed.
