Document Controller - Desalination Plant Project

Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to join the delivery team of a significant Desalination Plant project in the UAE. The role involves managing, tracking, and controlling project documentation to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution of project records throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and organize all project documentation such as drawings, reports, correspondence, and technical submittals.
• Register, monitor, distribute, and archive incoming and outgoing documents systematically.
• Maintain document control registers with up-to-date revision statuses.
• Handle document transmittals and support the approval processes effectively.
• Ensure proper archiving and storage of documents in line with project protocols.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to manage document submissions and provide status updates.
• Produce reports related to document control and maintain comprehensive records.

Candidate Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in document control, preferably within engineering consultancy, infrastructure projects, water, or desalination sectors.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Sound knowledge of document control processes, including revision tracking and transmittal management.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication capabilities.
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East will be considered advantageous.
