Mex1 Coastal Cantina is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Dishwashers at our family-friendly locations in Charleston, including West Ashley, Sullivan’s Island, and Mount Pleasant. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vibrant, fast-paced kitchen environment where maintaining cleanliness and supporting the culinary team is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans to uphold high hygiene standards.
• Maintain an orderly and clean dishwashing area throughout service hours.
• Provide assistance to kitchen staff with basic food preparation and cleaning tasks as necessary.
• Manage trash disposal and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate and support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving kitchen setting.
• Commitment to punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Positive teamwork mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Availability during weekends and evening shifts is advantageous.
