Role Overview
This position offers an independent, flexible, fully remote role where you will help improve AI-driven search technologies by evaluating a variety of online content. This role suits individuals who are curious, adept at using the internet, and enjoy assessing digital material.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess multiple forms of online content such as text, images, videos, webpages, and search results.
- Evaluate content based on relevance, quality, accuracy, usefulness, and alignment with the user's intent.
- Compare digital outputs and deliver structured feedback in line with detailed project guidelines.
- Monitor materials that may include sensitive, disturbing, or potentially offensive information.
- Identify and flag content that is inappropriate, misleading, of low quality, or not suitable for specific audiences.
- Contribute to enhancing online safety, content discoverability, and overall quality of the digital user experience.
Compensation and Participation Rules
Payment depends on the volume and complexity of tasks completed, project availability, productivity, and compliance with quality standards. Only one individual per household is permitted to participate; multiple participants from the same residence will lead to removal of all associated accounts.
Contractual Details
Engagement is on an independent contractor basis, providing flexibility to determine work hours and workload, contingent on project availability and quality standards. This does not establish an employment relationship with TELUS Digital.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have resided continuously in the United States for at least the past three years.
- Good knowledge of U.S. current events, history, business, media, sports, social and cultural affairs.
- Active Gmail and social media usage.
- Experience navigating and interacting with diverse online content via web browsers.
- Reliable daily access to broadband internet.
- Possession of a smartphone meeting specified OS requirements (Android 5.0+ or iOS 14+).
- Access to a personal computer.
Assessment and Verification
Candidates must pass an English language proficiency test, a supervised qualification exam, and complete identity verification to be considered for this role.
