Position Overview

Due to ongoing expansion, Korvest Ltd seeks a Design Draftsperson to join the engineering team at the Kilburn head office. This role involves collaborating closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop detailed drawings that precisely convey design concepts and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create technical drawings utilizing SolidWorks software.
• Develop clear and accurate drawings that communicate design intentions and manufacturing requirements.
• Review drawings, 3D models, and assemblies for accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to engineering projects and support product development efforts.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Background in mechanical design, modelling, or drafting.
• Familiarity with CAD tools, particularly SolidWorks or equivalent software.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and their representation in technical drawings.
• Meticulous attention to detail with an eagerness to learn and grow.

Additional Desired Qualifications

• Experience working in workshop or manufacturing environments.
• Educational credentials such as a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or mechanical trade experience.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from AUD 79,000 to AUD 93,000 annually, based in Adelaide, South Australia.
