Role Overview

This full-time position, stationed at Visakhapatnam, requires the Debt Recovery Agent to engage directly with customers for the resolution of outstanding debts. The agent will interact through phone calls and in-person meetings, clarify account details, negotiate repayment arrangements, and maintain accurate records of all communications. The role also involves monitoring payment plans, performing timely follow-ups on overdue accounts, escalating complicated cases as necessary, collaborating closely with finance and operations teams, compiling recovery status reports, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards while upholding excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient knowledge in debt collection processes, finance concepts, and repayment frameworks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively handle sensitive debt-related discussions and sustain professional client relationships.
• Analytical ability to evaluate account histories, identify suitable recovery strategies, and prioritize actions accordingly.
• Experience in the collections sector, banking, NBFCs, or related financial services is preferred.
• Awareness of local debt recovery regulations and compliance requirements is beneficial.
• Capability to work on-site in Visakhapatnam, including conducting field visits when necessary, while managing confidential information with integrity.
• Minimum educational requirement is completion of high school; a degree in finance, business administration, or analogous fields is advantageous.
