Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Steward to join our team at Viva Tech Solutions in Toronto, Ontario. This contract role focuses on managing and overseeing data governance processes to ensure compliance, privacy, and efficient data management across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Data Governance Frameworks to support company data policies.
• Manage metadata to enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
• Oversee privacy and compliance operations to adhere to regulatory standards.
• Utilize Agile methodologies for effective project delivery.
• Maintain JIRA boards and manage backlogs to track progress.
• Coordinate workspace and manage data migration readiness activities.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication.
• Resolve issues proactively, manage risks, and handle escalation processes efficiently.
• Communicate effectively, facilitating discussions and demonstrating leadership throughout project lifecycles.
