Role Overview

The chosen Data Scientist will lead the development and refinement of pivotal algorithmic models tailored for marketing applications. Responsibilities encompass predicting user behaviors, creating user profiles, estimating return on investment, and crafting traffic distribution schemes. The role demands building precise marketing models such as click-through rate (CTR) and conversion rate (CVR) prediction, life-time value (LTV) forecasting, and analysis of marketing channel attribution by utilizing user profiles, real-time behavioral datasets, and aligning with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop core algorithmic solutions targeting marketing use cases like user behavior forecasting, segmentation, ROI estimation, and traffic allocation to boost marketing effectiveness and conversion.
• Create marketing precision models including CTR/CVR predictions, LTV projections, and channel attribution metrics rooted in comprehensive user behavior data and business objectives.
• Formulate data-driven strategies for managing user lifecycle stages—acquisition, retention, and repurchase—to maximize user base growth and operational efficiency.
• Gain deep insights into business requirements, monitor algorithm effectiveness, and iteratively enhance models through rigorous A/B testing, causal inference methods, and attribution studies.
• Collaborate intimately with cross-functional teams encompassing data scientists, product managers, and operations personnel to integrate and operationalize algorithms within Binance's marketing frameworks driving measurable growth.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in relevant fields with robust programming and algorithmic expertise.
• Postgraduate degree (Master’s or higher) in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java, coupled with familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques including Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting Decision Trees, Deep Neural Networks, and specialized marketing models such as Uplift Modeling and Lookalike modeling.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, SQL/Hive, and extensive data preparation, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning skills.
• Strong grasp of marketing domains including user growth, advertising placements, and e-commerce, with the ability to architect algorithmic solutions aligned to business needs.
• Excellent logical reasoning, autonomy at work, and effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
