Role Overview
We seek a data engineer with strong data analytics interests and a solid foundation in Python. This role involves developing, managing, and optimizing AI-driven data pipelines and tools that support our supplier sourcing solutions. The candidate will be critical in monitoring AI feature performance and ensuring the delivery of dependable, high-quality matching results.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to conceptualize and refine AI functionalities that add value for clients.
- Create, operate, and enhance AI tools and data pipelines primarily using Python.
- Continuously assess the output quality of the AI-powered supplier matching system, ensuring precision and dependability.
- Develop and administer tests and experiments to validate new AI features’ effectiveness.
- Construct data acquisition pipelines, including web crawling and integration with external APIs and third-party tools.
- Perform data analytics to discover improvement opportunities for AI solutions.
- Assist in scaling data infrastructures alongside platform growth.
- Effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong foundation in data analytics, statistics, and model evaluation techniques.
- Practical experience in data acquisition and integration methodologies, such as web crawling and API usage.
- Understanding of AI and machine learning models and deployment in production environments.
- Proven expertise in Python programming.
- Experience in utilizing AI workflows for feature development and comprehensive testing.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and adaptability to a startup setting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with procurement, supplier sourcing, or B2B marketplaces.
- Experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Knowledge of OpenAI and Gemini integration techniques.
- Previous exposure to startup environments.

Location and Employment Details
